Ebenezer Baptist Church, a church of the Baptist General Conference of Canada is seeking a full-time associate pastor in Wetaskiwin, AB. Ebenezer is church that bridges rural and urban in a small city 50 minutes south of Alberta’s capital, Edmonton. The church is a warm and welcoming body of believers that is committed to community and is growing. Our mission and vision is to “lead ordinary people to become extraordinary followers of Jesus Christ.”

Candidates would possess conservative theological and doctrinal positions and would have a strong commitment to prayer and ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4). Candidates would possess a Bible college or seminary education. Those with significant ministry experience and some college and/or seminary education (not completed) will be considered.
The associate pastor’s portfolio would include ministry to young families, seniors, leading a team-based approach to youth and young adult ministry and assisting the senior pastor in all pastoral responsibilities as gifted and assigned.
