Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant manages the systems, operations, and administration of the church, enabling the Co-Lead Pastoral Team to focus on strategic decisions for advancing the church’s vision and mission 

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Organizational Skills – able to handle multiple and diverse tasks
  • Self-Motivated – able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Time Management/Multitasking – required to multitask, switch tasks quickly, and resume previous tasks after interruptions, prioritize effectively, create efficient processes and workflows.
  • Communication Skills – able to communicate professionally both written and verbally
  • People Skills – capable of fostering positive relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Decision-Making/Problem – skilled & analytical problem-solver with the ability to offer alternative solutions, make quick decisions, and know when to seek advice.
  • Technical Skills – a working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated extensive Executive administrative experience
  • Project management experience
  • Facility management experience preferred
  • Previous experience and knowledge of church and non-profit
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 

  • Work directly with Co-Lead Pastors to support all aspects of the operations
  • Oversight of all systems and process required to effectively and efficiently manage the entire functions of WKC
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the church and its buildings including, maintenance, insurance, safety, and rentals.
  • Responsible for the Operational and Facilities Budgets

 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Hours: Full-Time, 30-40 hours/week
  • Salary: In align with experience
