Web Designer

We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Web Designer to help improve and develop our online presence, starting with our website. The Web Designer will be responsible for learning about our church and helping to represent us online. They will help promote events, such as our summer camps, by designing graphics, posters, and creating information pages on our website, and will upload information and updates to the website for the community’s awareness. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Office and Communications Administrator, as well as our Systems Technician, to create the infrastructure of our ministries.

Responsibilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including but not limited to: grammar, editing documents, etc.)
• Previous web development/designing experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Pastoral Team
• Problem solving and resourcefulness
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Must Be Between 18-30 Years Old With A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
• Canadian Resident (International Students Cannot Be Hired)
• Willingness To Abide By Spring Garden Church Values And Code Of Conduct
• Willingness To Work Sunday Mornings
• Can Express Personal Creativity (Not Exclusive To Art)
• Strong Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability To Work Collaboratively And Lead A Team To Achieve Shared Goals.
